Dealing With Numbers
Rules
This one is pretty simple:
If the number isn't ridiculously complicated, write it out: Third instead of 3rd. One hundred instead of 100.
If the number is huge and has a lot of different digits, use number 3,576 instead of three thousand, five-hundred and seventy-six.
The key is to use your judgement with the basic understanding that in general using 5 instead of five looks lazy and sloppy.
